My belief is that, by administering change and development in surrounding communities you first begin by educating them and opening a life which avails a wide scope of knowledge and breaks down all ignorance and that initially takes place by telling visual stories and multiple narratives that can help people understand each other better.
Aloha. This is Dr. Eileen Cheng from the Big Island of Hawaii, USA. As the Head of Outreach, I sincerely welcome all who gather here to empower our youths worldwide using the powerful and effective Impact Model UN Summit Framework. Life is a continuous learning process. After receiving my Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from the University of California, San Francisco, I went on to become an entrepreneur for over a decade while receiving training in indigenous education and completed an Executive MBA program.
Combing this collection of institutional training and socio-political engagements with my experience as an immigrant from Hong Kong/ Taiwan to the United States, an unique global outlook is formed. Education, I believe, is the key to solutions for racial prejudice, wealth inequality, gender bias, civil discord, and even political conflicts.
