The first annual Impact Summit was held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 21st to 23rd of September. The entire event was hosted by the Impact Summit Foundation and through collaboration with Salam Center For Peace and MUN Impact. The aim of Impact Summit Conference was to raise the awareness about all 17 Sustainable Development Goal, especially the 16th SDG which stands for Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. Impact Summit 2018 offered to all participant an unparalleled experience which consisted of workshops delivered by world-class speakers, such as Onyi Anyado from Nigeria and speeches from four KeyNote speakers Omar Al Busaidy from United Arab Emirates, Salam Kedan from Israel, Robin De Zeeuw from Netherlands, and Monika Babcanova who was the 2015 Slovakian Peace award winner.
The second annual Impact Summit conference was held in Prague from 7th of June to 9th of June 2019 in Yugra Alliance Congress Center. The topic of Impact Summit 2019 was 5th Sustainable Development Goal, Gender Equality. Impact Summit 2019 was composed from debates in four committees which debated in total 7 Sub-Goals of the 5th SDG.
The Summit was attended by students from 21 countries and students had the opportunity to participate in amazing workshops led by the many amazing speakers such as but not limited to Patrik Choleva who is the Chief Financial Officer at leading construction company Skanska Poland, Birgit Van Hout who is the Director of the United Nations Human Rights Regional Office for Europem, Rona Van Der Zander who worked on projects with the United Nations Association in Australia and the UN Global Compact in New York City, Elina Viitasaari who is the UN representative at Gender Focal Point for Center for Global Nonkilling and has therefore written UN statements concerning violence against women for the Commission on the Status of Women and Sarah K. Lee who is the former head of admissions offices at Harvard and Stanford Universities.
